Wanted to let you know I’ve had some magnificent views with the 12″ f/4 mirror. The telescope is operational. On my trip to south France I observed a lot of the summer sky highlights. I was really impressed by the view of Saturn. I’ve seen details (belts) I’ve never seen before and one night I was able to see not only the Cassini division but the Encke division as well. I didn’t knew this was even possible. I’m really looking forward to hunt the autumn sky for galaxies. – Bart Kapitein
